Pastor Greg was raised in a Christian home in Roanoke, VA. He accepted Jesus as Savior at age eight. Eventually Pastor Greg and his family moved to Wilmington, NC, where he graduated from Wilmington Christian Academy and met Suzanne, his future wife. Both Pastor Greg and Suzanne attended Liberty University and began dating during their sophomore year. They graduated together with business degrees got and married in June 1988. After settling in Wilmington, he and Suzanne ran their own business while raising their family. 

In 1994, God moved their family to Raleigh, where they joined Mid-Way Baptist Church. In 2005, he became the Worship Pastor and pursued an MA in Theological Studies at Liberty University, graduating in 2009. Answering God’s call to preach, he was ordained and returned to Wilmington in 2010 to plant Coastal Community Baptist Church. The church launched on October 10, 2010, with 15 members and has since experienced significant growth - all by God's blessing and provision.

Pastor Greg and Suzanne have been married since 1988. They have two sons, Allan and Tyler. Allan and Tyler are both married and have blessed Pastor Greg and Suzanne with five grandchildren. The family remains deeply rooted in their faith and ministry. Pastor Greg is honored to serve Jesus and lead Coastal Community Baptist Church, while also being a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
