Coastal Cares is an outreach ministry of Coastal Community Baptist Church.  Our goal is to be the hands and feet of Jesus to meet the simple needs of people in the surrounding community through support and encouragement. God is leading our ministry to serve those in their time of need.

Weekend Meals on Wheels of Wilmington, NC is a faith-based 501(c)3 organization and exists to ensure provision of nutritious meals and social contact to senior on weekends and other days not covered by the weekday Home Delivered Meals program in New Hanover County, North Carolina.

Since its beginning in 1991, Weekend Meals on Wheels has been providing nourishing meal along with volunteer drivers delivering friendly smiles, compassion and also serve as a liaison between the community and the client.

This service enhances the quality of life for homebound seniors, and for many is a vital service making independent living possible. The Weekend Meals on Wheels Council, Inc. exists because we know there are many seniors who have no other source to provide and supply daily nutritious meal accompanied by a compassionate individual that cares about them.

This is a simple, but impactful way to shine the light of Jesus.

Our ministry partners with churches and non-profit organizations to meet the needs of the community that will display the hope of Jesus.  

Kevin and Marietta have served as Awana Missionaries since March 2008. They began their Awana journey Fall of 1999 as leaders in their local church. In their first year of Awana they saw the great need to reach kids with the gospel and how Awana could equip leaders to reach kids. They began serving as Awana Ministry Directors and Ministry Team Members in 2001.
