Ruth & Greg
When Dr. Greg and Ruth Viehman came to Coastal, they were looking for something fresh and alive—and they found it in the Bible teaching, worship, and people of Coastal.
For the past 15 years, the Viehmans have faithfully served our church family in so many ways—from serving on our Sunday Medical Emergency Response Team and teaching Disciple U and the KNOW study, to leading a men’s Bible study and serving on the Board of Trustees.
But when you ask them why they serve, their answer is simple: they love Coastal, and they love Jesus. They say it is a blessing to serve such a loving body of people for the LORD.
Some of their favorite verses are Isaiah 26:3–4, John 8:31–32, and John 17:3—verses that reflect their deep love for God’s Word and their desire to know Him and help others know Him, too.
We are so thankful for Dr. Greg and Ruth and the way they faithfully live out their God-given calling to teach, disciple, and invest in others. Their love for Scripture, humble servant leadership, and consistent faithfulness have impacted countless lives at Coastal.
They don’t just serve—they invest. They don’t just teach—they disciple. And they do it all with a genuine love for Jesus and His people.
