Melissa
Melissa came to Coastal looking for a church home for her family, and for the past 6 years she has faithfully served our church family in so many ways!
She first began serving in Elementary so she could be with Ariel, later moved to Preschool to serve alongside Elijah, and has also helped with VBS for the past 4 years. Melissa shares that she serves because God has gifted her with teaching talents, and she wants to faithfully use the gifts He has given her to invest in others.
One of Melissa’s favorite Bible passages is Numbers 12. She says:
“I have been doing a Bible read through and have found in Numbers of all places, a chapter that speaks to me. Here I find proof that God hears us. He heard Miriam complaining, came down and directly spoke to her, told her to not speak against Moses. He does that for me too every day. Listening to me praising, complaining, or requesting. He listens and answers and won’t let anyone harm me or even speak out against me. What a wonderful God we serve!”
We are so thankful for Melissa and her heart to serve the Lord and love others so faithfully at Coastal! She is truly a difference maker!
