The Book of Acts | Part 2

Acts is the overarching historical book of the New Testament. In this book we see the ascension of Jesus, the commissioning of the Apostles, the arrival of the Holy Spirit and the ministry of the apostles. This study is an inductive walkthrough of the start and ministry of the early church and through this study, we will discover the implications for today. In a world that is unsure of where to find truth or purpose, the books of Acts stands apart. Acts may have been written 2000 years ago, but God is calling us to be a part of that story today.

This 8 week co-ed class will be led by Dr. Matt Hogan on Wednesday evenings, 6:30pm - 8:00pm, April 9th - May 28th. No cost for this study!

MEN

 The Book of Galatians

If someone asked you to explain the gospel, what would you say? What is the good news of the Christian faith? Writing to the Galatians, Paul made it clear how easily we can be tempted to turn toward fraudulent gospels, especially those that teach we can earn God’s love through our works. Though they may have the appearance of truth, they are lifeless and leave us empty in the end.

In this Disciple U series, we will dive into the book of Galatians, one that contains some of the clearest explanations of the gospel in the New Testament. Through biblical study and engaging lessons, we will discover that true freedom is found in surrender, not self-dependence. Because the gospel of Christ is not based on works, but faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Led by Pastor Matt Hogan, this men's study of the book of Galatians is free and will held be held on Wednesday mornings 7am-8:15am, April 9th - May 21st.

KIDS: INFANTS - 6TH GRADE

Going Vertical

Going Vertical, a kid-friendly study of the Bible, is the next step in helping kids grow closer to God. Kids today are growing up in a culture where the Bible isn't revered as a hold book, where they are made fun of for believing truths that go against the grain of popular thought. Going Vertical will help kids understand the makeup and message of the Bible.

This program is available for children, infant-6th grade, whose parents are attending a Disciple U class, April 9th- May 28th, 6:30pm-8:00pm
