The Book of Romans
Romans is considered vitally necessary for Christian spiritual health, as it encompasses an extraordinary range of theological themes including sin, law, judgment, faith, grace, salvation, the work of Christ and the Holy Spirit, church history, and principles of personal godliness. Church Historians viewed it as the key to understanding all of Scripture, providing a comprehensive landscape of biblical understanding.

Did God really create in six literal days or millions of years? What about dinosaurs and carbon dating? Where did Cain get his wife? Who are the Nephilim? Were there real giants? Was Noah’s flood local or global? How could all the animals fit? What really happened between Noah, Ham, and Canaan? Learn these answers and more in this exciting 10-week study!

The Gospel Of John
Wednesday Mornings
The Gospel of John was written to persuade people to believe in Jesus as the promised Savior and Son of God, offering eternal life to those who believe in him. Unlike the other synoptic gospels, John’s account is unique, drawing primarily on events and discourses not found in other gospels to prove that Jesus is God in the flesh, the eternal Word come to earth. The gospel focuses on seven miraculous signs demonstrating Jesus’s divinity, including raising Lazarus from the dead, which proves his power over life. John records seven “I am” statements revealing Jesus’s divine nature and offers the promise of an abundant, fulfilling kingdom life to those who follow him. Remarkably, the gospel is written in simple language that is simultaneously profound, making it accessible to believers at all levels of faith.

The Book of Ecclesiastes
Wednesday Evenings
Ecclesiastes is a profound biblical book that explores the search for meaning in life’s complexities. It addresses times when life seems incomprehensible, taking an honest look at wealth, labor, pleasure, and wisdom, ultimately concluding that these pursuits are meaningless in themselves. The book traces humanity’s search for meaning through various philosophies and life aspects, observing life “under the sun” without fully considering God’s revelation. It ultimately concludes that a person cannot find satisfaction without God, and that searching for meaning through knowledge, pleasure, work, materialism, or power is ultimately unfruitful.

MEN

The Book of Romans
Romans is Paul’s fullest and most comprehensive statement of the gospel, with declarations of vast truths that are like “coiled springs” – once unleashed, they can profoundly reshape one’s mind and heart. Many theologians consider Romans as the God-given key to understanding all of Scripture. From Romans, the entire biblical landscape becomes clear. It provides the most comprehensive statement of Paul’s gospel in the New Testament and comes closest to offering a systematic theology, essentially serving as Paul’s most comprehensive outline of Christian doctrine.
