CO-ED

1 & 2 Thessalonians
Composed by the apostle Paul, along with Silvanus and Timothy, the books of 1 & 2 Thessalonians were written to the church in Thessalonica, a flourishing city in Greece. The epistles were penned shortly after Paul and his companions planted the church, but were forced to flee due to persecution. The letters provide insight in to the early church's anticipation of Christ's imminent return and offer teachings on Christian maturity, confronting immorality, and maintaining a biblical work ethic.
This 8 week co-ed class will be led by Dr. Matt Hogan on Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8pm, Sept. 24 - Nov. 12th. No cost for this study!

HoP
(Healthy On Purpose)
After a short break, HoP is coming back in September 2025 for ladies only!
What is “HoP”? “HoP” is an acronym for “Healthy on Purpose!” The pilot for this class took place in 2022 and 6 classes have been completed since then.
There are SO many correlations between our spiritual and our physical health. Because the Holy Spirit lives within us, we have a responsibility to be good stewards of our health and wellness.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought for a price; therefore glorify God in your body.
“Healthy on Purpose” is taught by Mrs. Jennifer Pate. Jennifer is a certified health coach and personal trainer. Jennifer also has a deep love for Jesus and enjoys bringing the comparisons between our physical and spiritual health so that the entire class becomes something you consider long after the class itself comes to an end.
From Jennifer: As a certified health coach, I am a behavior change specialist. My job is to help participants get from where they are to where they want to be with their health and wellness. This ranges from achieving weight loss goals to improving overall health.
I don't push trendy diets. I believe and teach healthy lifestyle changes that can be sustainable for the rest of your life. I can teach you tools and help give you strategies for reaching your goals, but the choice to do the work is 100% your responsibility.
The class is 8 weeks long and can have only 8 participants. Due to the nature of this class, it's important that you be able to commit to all 8 weeks. While we understand emergencies happen, to get the most benefit from the information taught, you'll want to be able to attend every scheduled class. This class requires full participation. Everything taught is for YOUR benefit, but "Education without application is just entertainment."
The Cost for this Class is $12 per person which includes the Study Guide.
