The Chewning Family - AWANA Missionary in NC

Kevin and Marietta have served as Awana Missionaries since March 2008. They began their Awana journey Fall of 1999 as leaders in their local church. In their first year of Awana they saw the great need to reach kids with the gospel and how Awana could equip leaders to reach kids. They began serving as Awana Ministry Directors and Ministry Team Members in 2001.

Weekend Meals on Wheels of Wilmington, NC is a faith-based 501(c)3 organization and exists to ensure provision of nutritious meals and social contact to senior on weekends and other days not covered by the weekday Home Delivered Meals program in New Hanover County, North Carolina.

At SHP, we fully believe that a bed is a basic need for the proper physical, emotional, and mental support that a child needs. When it was brought to our attention that the need for beds went far beyond our own neighborhoods, we stepped up and took initiative. We’re a national organization answering the call to a national problem. Your donations go directly to building beds and to helping a kid in need get off the floor.
