Reconnect. Reignite. Resurrect. Re|engage.
re|engage is for marriages of all stages.
God has designed marriage to be a supportive, loving, life-giving relationship that mirrors His own unconditional love for us. re|engage will help you better understand that design and learn how to apply it to your own marriage.
This is why, re|engage is discipleship-based enrichment for every marriage – the healthy, the struggling, and the broken, which brings couples together to learn about God’s design for marriage and apply biblical principles for building a healthy relationship. In summation, re|engage is a Christ-centered ministry for every married couple.

Who should attend?
re|engage is for one man, one woman couples who are married (in other words, this is not for seriously dating, engaged, or cohabitating couples). Previously married couples who are separated or divorced and are considering reconciliation are encouraged to attend as well.
What should I expect?
Every week begins in a large group setting, where you will hear stories of hope from other couples whose marriages have been transformed. Re|engage leaders will also share practical steps you can take to improve your own relationship. week begins in a large group setting, where you will hear stories of hope from other couples whose marriages have been transformed. After meeting as a large group, participants will break off into smaller groups, with each group led by a facilitator couple. Together, you and your small group will work through the curriculum and learn how to effectively communicate, resolve conflict, and grow closer to your spouse.
What does a typical night at re|engage “look like”?
The format of the Wednesday night is as follows:
6:30pm-7:00pm – Large Group Time (worship/testimony/teaching)
7:00pm-8:00pm – Small Group Time
Closed Group: When/if you and your spouse decide to join a closed group, we’ll put you in a group with 4-5 other couples and a facilitator couple, and you’ll work through a re|engage participant’s guide together. Once this group starts, you can expect it to last 20 weeks.
What commitment do I have to make?
Once you join a closed group, working through the re|engage curriculum will require a 20-week commitment. This is the time in which the group is working through the curriculum together.
How much time each week outside of the meeting is required to be part of re|engage?
Completion of the curriculum will take approximately 20-30 minutes each week. The time required will vary, but it is designed for minimal time commitment.
Do you provide child care?
Yes, we do provide childcare for children birth to 5th grade old with registration. They can be dropped off at the kids’ area beginning at 6:15pm, and must be picked up by 8:15pm.
When and where does re|engage meet?

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. We are thinking about getting married (or are engaged). Is this ministry for us?
A. We suggest you elect to focus on marriage preparation through a pre-marital meeting. If you would like more information on pre-marriage preparation please contact Pastor Chad Hall at chad@gotocoastal.com
Q. We have only been married for 6 months. Can we still come?
A. Absolutely! In fact, participating in re|engage at this stage in your marriage is a great idea! The program will provide a strong foundation for your marriage.
Q. My marriage is doing well. Can we benefit by attending re|engage?
A. Whether your marriage needs to be reignited, or is in need of a complete resurrection, re|engage is a safe place for couples to reconnect.
Q. Is re|engage marriage counseling?
A. re|engage is not marriage counseling and the leaders are facilitators, not counselors. They are also growing in their own marriages. Everyone in the group is on the journey to oneness in marriage. We believe that openness and honesty in a small group setting, using Biblically-based curriculum, is where God works to grow and resurrect marriages.
Q. How do I know that what I share at re|engage will be kept confidential? Will it be a safe place to share?
A. We believe that scripture calls us to refrain from gossip, and we ask all participants and facilitators to adhere to the principle that what is discussed in the group stays in the group. re|engage facilitators are encouraged to operate under the direction of God’s Word in handling the information shared in the group. In order to provide a safe environment, the facilitators have committed to not share information about others outside the group except in the event of the threat of physical, emotional or spiritual injury, then to be dealt with under the guidance of re|engage ministry leadership team.
Q: Can I be honest with people about what is going on in our marriage?
A: Our prayer is that you will feel safe to share within your small group. We find that the more authentic and transparent couples can be with others, the more they find hope and healing within their marriage.
Q. Will I be asked a lot of personal questions at re|engage?
A. There is no personal sharing required during the large group meeting. Though we encourage you to remain active in group discussion, any personal sharing during the small group meetings is voluntary.
Q. Can I just come and visit, or do I have to commit to something?
Until you join a closed group, there is no commitment necessary. Your first night you will join us at 6:30pm for a large group time of teaching and/or testimony, and then you will go to the newcomers group. The newcomers group is a great place for you to hear more about the heart and history behind re|engage, and give you a chance to ask any questions that you might have.
Q. I have no hope anymore. Is this a place where we can find hope?
A. Our prayer is that you will find hope that can come through allowing God to do a mighty work within your marriage.
Q. I don’t know if I’ll have a marriage by the end of the month. Is re|engage a good place for us?
A. Absolutely! There are many couples who have attended, or are attending, who are separated or divorced. While the outcome is based on the work each individual is willing to do to save their marriage, the platform provides a safe place to focus on what a healthy marriage should look like, and it provides some tools to help grow toward this goal.
Q. We don’t like spending time with each other anymore. Will we have to interact together?
A. While you will be in a small group together, each of you will be sharing about what you learn personally each week. However, there are some exercises that may require you to interact with each other throughout the process.
